Jacob Tremblay: from Hollywood to patrolling the streets of Vancouver
He's been chaperoned by his parents to various glittering award ceremonies and film festivals, including the Oscars last month. But on Monday it was Jacob Tremblay's turn to accompany his dad to work.
The young star of Room, who has more than 325,000 Instagram followers, has shared a photo collage of himself and his handsome policeman father at work.
Donning aviator sunglasses, a leather jacket and a Vancouver Police Department cap, Jacob looked like one of the guys.
Jacob Tremblay wrote: "I always bring my Dad to my work, but today I went to his!!!"

Not only is Jacob much loved for his stellar performance in, but the young Canadian has also become somewhat of a social media sensation. The youngster's photo scored more than 46,000 likes – but it wasn't as much as Jacob's "super selfie collage".
The little cutie introduced himself to several famous faces at the Oscars, including Best Actress nominee Saoirse Ronan, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara and Samuel L Jackson. He later posted a collage of his encounters on Instagram.

On the night itself Jacob was seated next to his parents and behind his co-star Brie Larson. When the 26-year-old was crowned Best Actress, she leapt out of her seat and high-fived and hugged Jacob, who played her five-year-old son Jack in the film.
Taking to the stage to deliver her acceptance speech, Brie thanked Jacob, calling him "my partner through this in every way possible".
While Jacob was not nominated for an Oscar, he did manage to scoop the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer in January.

"This is super cool, this is the best day of my life," he said. "I first want to say thank you to all the critics who voted for me. It must be a super hard vote because of all the other great actors in this category."
"I just want to thank my parents. I love them very much," Jacob added, before revealing he would be keeping his new trophy in pride of place in his bedroom – on a shelf right next to his Millennium Falcon.
