The Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival is a close contender to Glastonbury when it comes to global reputation and a star-studded guest list.

The festival is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The location is only a two-hour drive from Los Angeles and about 30 minutes from the glitzy Palm Springs. As one of the world's most reknown festivals, it has become a fixture on the calendar of some of our favourite fashion icons and influencers. As a result, it has played host to some incredible outfits.

When was the first ever Coachella?

The inaugural Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was held on October 9–10, 1999. Headlining the event were Beck, Tool, and Rage Against the Machine.
